Sellers list for free on ProjectsAndPartsAuctions.com website (also referred herein as the “Site”). But, we do give the Seller the opportunity to split the Buyers’ fee with the Buyer. Sellers would do this to help encourage a sale of the item.

Buyers pay 4.5% (unless it is split with the Seller) of the total cost for however they purchase a project or part: auction, buy-it-now, classifieds, consignment (a “sale”): Fees per category:

            If a sale on a project vehicle; whether sold at auction, buy-it-now, or via any other means on the Site:
Minimum fee is $250, Maximum is $4500 (calculated based on the 4.5% above)

            If a sale on a part; whether sold at auction, buy-it-now, or via any other means on the Site:
Minimum fee is $25, Maximum is $250 (calculated based on the 4.5% above)

We do NOT do “holds” on your credit card upon registering as a User. We are honest people and hopefully you are too. If we find out you are not, you will be banned for life from being a part of the Site.  Once a User sells an item to a Buyer, we will charge the credit card on file, of the Buyer, the appropriate Buyer’s fee as stated above…if the Seller and Buyer have split the Buyer’s fee, we will charge the credit card(s) on file of the Buyer and Seller the appropriate amount each per the split.  These charges will be charged to the credit card(s) in any case BEFORE the Seller and Buyer are connected for Buyer and Seller to finalize the rest of the financial transaction relating to the sale and purchase of the item.

When a project or part is sold on Projects and Parts Auctions, we will connect the seller and the buyer so that they can complete the sale directly. Of course, in order to make sure we have enough revenue to keep all of this going, we collect our fees BEFORE we connect the seller and buyer. Again, we are honest people, and we trust that you are too.
